Sunbelt Firewall and EaseUS Information

        Sunbelt firewall was originally Kerio Personal Firewall.  The software was offered by my university and performed well at blocking viruses and Trojans.  The software includes a feature usually found in business firewalls called IPS or intrusion prevention system.  What IPS essentially does is automatically detects and neutralizes bad incoming traffic.  Say that you visit a website and it attempts to download a virus.  Before your antivirus even has the ability to detect this threat, Sunbelt firewall will automatically block the virus/intrusion.  Of course, the IPS is limited to what Sunbelt firewall knows is a bad threat and therefore is limited by the internal database of the firewall.  However, Sunbelt frequently provides definition updates so you can be sure that your computer is more secure.

    In addition to the IPS,  Sunbelt Firewall excels in overall performance.  The software program is small and light weight.  It only takes a few seconds to initialize.  What separates Sunbelt from the rest of the free antivirus firewalls is its scanning performance.  Often, after installing another company's firewall my internet connection performance and download speeds were reduced.  With the Sunbelt firewall I was barely able to detect a decrease in performance.  If your a power user, consider Sunbelt personal firewall.
